Refund Policy

Fee Details/Price Details &Refund /Cancellation Policy

NJB from time to time may issue advertisements, tenders etc and may ask you to deposit Application Fees, EMDs, and PBGs etc. Refund, if any, will be done as per Govt. of India rules, in vogue.

As regards, Direct Recruitment Applications, NJB is in the process of issuing Advertisements for direct recruitment to various posts under NJB .The Application Fee will be as under :- 

  1.   For Group A Posts   -  Rs.1000/-
  2.   For Group B Posts   - Rs.    750/-
  3.   For Group C Posts   - Rs. 500/-

The Fees should be paid digitally as specified in the instructions for candidate's.No cash payment of any kind is admissible and no refund claim will be entertained against any such cash payment if made by candidate. The fees are nonrefundable in nature. Only genuine refund claims like double payments made, debited  amounts more than the prescribed fees, payments made but payment receipt  not generated resulting in double payments will be dealt for processing ,if admissible. But such processes can only start afterthe closure of the last date of receipt of all applications . Such refund claims should be reported/brought to notice of NJB by the candidates (to the Joint Director -A&E and Joint Director -Finance, within 72Hours.All attempts will be made to arrange such refunds as early as possible. NJB will retain the fee and may utilize the fees for completing the task assigned. Once fee is paid and admit card issued the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances even if the candidate does not appear for the examination for which fee was paid.

Limited Liability

 Under any circumstances, the maximum liability of NJB  shall be limited to the fee NJB  collected for the applicant and NJBwill not be liable for any loss or damages that may be incurred or as may be claimed by the applicant  due to delay in process (technical or otherwise) or rejection of application by the  authorities.

 Procedure for Requesting Refund

 In case of double payment you for request of refund of fee, contact  the "Joint Director Finance" or send an email to jute@njbindia.in with reason for refund of fee. No Cash Refund will be processed. All refund requests should be submitted within 72 hours . In case the task is not completed due to reasons not within the control of NJB like court case etc ,no refund requests will be processed till disposal of the court case/s.

 External Factors beyond our control

  The process may take unexpected long time due to technical issues or due to technical update of the process or due to policy / process changes the regulatory platforms.NJBdoes not guarantee the result/outcome within the indicated timelines. Delay in processing the service delivery or rejection of application process by the regulatory authority or courts of law cannot be a reason for refund.

 Cancellation Fee

 NJB will be incurring cost and manhours, technology resources and technical and professional expertise of professionals and technical resources throughout the process such as briefing, meetings with professionals and experts, use of technology resources, documentation and guidance,  processing and co-ordination with external service providers, compliance documents preparation filing with regulatory platforms, liaison with regulatory authorities etc. So, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for every refund request as we are required to incur time and cost for the entire refund process. A cancellation fee of 20% subject to minimum of Rs.200/- will be charged for every refund request.

 Jurisdiction

Any disputes or claims and refund of fee arising in connection withNJB shall be governed in accordance with the law of India and courts in Kolkata shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle the matters.
